At Mechanical Engineering Department, we have a mission to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, skilled and equipped with positive attitudes that shall enable them face challenges in life.

The department is divided into production and automotive sections.

We offer diploma, craft and artisan certificate courses in the fields of mechanical production and automotive. The diploma and craft certificates are modular taking one year per module while artisan certificate has level 1 and level 2. The diploma has 3 modules whereas craft has 2 modules.

The department hopes in future to be self-sustaining and engage in income generating activities whose main objective include the following;

1. Start production of machine parts

2. Carry out fabrication of parts based on customers specification

3. Establish a wheel alignment and car wash bay

4. Establish auto body building
